Day 9 - 20 October 2016

Day 9 Thursday 20th of October Overnight success! We have noticed that there has been alot of growing overnight - 1 radish, 1 kale, 1 thyme and 1 lettuce have grown. We now have 6 types of vegetables. We have observed the following Radish, has 5 sprouts the tallest is 5 cm. Cress, 5 sprouts, the tallest 3 cm. Rocket, 7 sprouts, the tallest 5 cm. Some of the rocket has grown so fast, like a rocket ship, it has bent over . Kale has 1 sprout of 0.5cm. Thyme has 1 sprout of 0.5 cms. The thyme is very thin and skinny and hard to spot, 1cm. Lettuce, 2 sprouts both 1 cm . One thing we noticed is that all the seeds are growing towards the sun. Time for our daily vegetable joke - Where does Rocket sprout ? in outer space !!
